Vienna Austria
Porcelain Hand Painted 2-Handle Center Fruit Bowl ~ Large and very
heavy white porcelain center bowl entirely hand painted with a fruit and
leaf design and gold trim and handles. It measures approximately 7"
high and just under 15" across from handle to handle. The Vienna
Austria crown and 2 shields mark is believed to be attributed to New York
import circa 1890 to 1910. In excellent overall condition with no
chips or cracks found. There is, however, a fair amount of handling
wear to the design, mostly rubbing to the gilt on the handles. We
would estimate this to be a maximum of 25% wear. Feel free to
contact us if you would like to see additional photos of this wonderful
piece. |

Miniature Metal (Silver
Plate?) Pill Box w/ Hand Painted Violets ~ Lovely little box measuring
approximately 1.5" in diameter and a little less than 0.5" high. The
enameled coating over the paint is a bit worn away over the edges.
The box is made entirely of metal. It could be a pot metal of some
sort, but I'm guessing it was once silver plated. No makers marks or
anything to indicate age or origin. A pretty box to add to your
collection! |

Large 12"
Bisque Piano Baby Girl Holding Nude Boy Doll ~ We acquired this adorable
bisque piano baby doll right off the piano of a Hollywood area
estate. She is rather large and heavy..... measuring approximately
12" tall, 8" wide across the base of her skirt, and 10.5"
from toes to rear. She is in fantastic condition, but could use a
good cleaning (I prefer to leave bisque items "as is" to avoid
damaging the paint or finish.) She has a solid base with the
remnants of two old stickers on the bottom, but no makers marks. Definitely
vintage, but I have no idea of her exact maker or age. The bottom
shows age from moving it over time. I found no chips, cracks or
repairs. We are also offering a boy piano baby that came from the
same owner. They are the same size, but believed to be different
manufacturers due to variations in their finish, paint colors, etc.
Believed to be of European / German origin, but we are not certain of
this. Heubach German piano babies sell for upwards of $1,000 in much
smaller sizes. You can get our cute unknown, unmarked baby for much
less. Additional photos available upon request. |

Antique German Pearlized Iridescent Figural
Cup & Saucer Set w/ Flower Handle ~ Unusual pearlized iridescent
porcelain cup and saucer with purple painted accents and figural flower
handle. This demitasse size cup is about 2.25" tall and the
saucer is 4.5" in diameter. Both pieces are in excellent
condition with no chips or cracks. Both have wear to the gilt
design. Neither is marked, but I'm certain they are of German
origin, most likely between 1900 and 1930. A lovely set to put on
display in your china cabinet! |

Large English Stoke-on-Trent Vintage
Staffordshire Porcelain Pitcher ~ The bottom of this 7.5" tall
pitcher is marked "Stoke on Trent Staffordshire England" but I
have not yet been able to determine who made it or when (definitely
old). The width of the pitcher is a little over 6" across the
top from handle to spout. There are no chips or cracks -- just some
non-specific age wear. There are 2 holes in the top where it appears
a handle may have been at one time..... probably a wire one. A
gorgeous piece of vintage English porcelain! |

1926 Royal Worcester Hand Embellished
Cup & Saucer - Made in England ~ A fantastic example of fine old
English bone china. This vintage cup and saucer set is a striking
black and white design with gold detail and hand embellished with white,
green and tan colored raised enameled dots. The bottom of both
pieces is signed with the Royal Worcester mark, along with the artist's
hand painted initials and the model number. The mark has an * and
five dots on either side (10 total), which dates the manufacture to
1926. There is a slight paint smudge inside the cup rim
(manufacturing flaw) and some scratches on the bottom of the saucer where
the mark is. Other than these minor imperfections, this lovely set
is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
A highly sought after cabinet display set! |

Antique Pink Rose & Floral Porcelain 2
Handle Vase - Nearly 1 Foot Tall ~ What a lovely vase to add to your
collection! This 11.75" tall fine porcelain vase has a light
blue to darker blue painted background, gold painted rims & handles,
and a very nice quality pink rose or pansy floral design. The
flowers appear to be hand painted unless you look very closely to see the
dot matrix pattern of a transfer. There is an impressed mark on the
bottom that may be a mold number -- I can't make it out. Otherwise,
no other maker's marks. Acquired from a dealer in England who
purchased it from a local estate. I have no idea of maker or age,
but since there is gold wear on the handles (about 30% to 40%) it
certainly isn't a new piece. Some roughness and wear to the bottom
rim, but I could not find any chips or cracks. A really nice large
vase that makes a lasting impression. |

Pair of Vintage Italian Crystal &
Silver Plate Candlesticks ~ Finely crafted pair of silver plated candleholders standing approximately 6" high and 6" wide across
the crystal bowls. Ornate design and quite heavy for their
size. No chips or cracks on the glass - only one tiny rough spot on
the outside of one rim. The silver plate is in good condition, but
with wear and tarnishing. (I don't like to shine old metalware, and
prefer to let the buyer do as they please.) One candlestick has a
crown and shield mark with "WA" inside; the other is only marked
"PM Italy", which I believe stands for plate. |

Antique French Limoges Game Bird Plate #11
~ Beautiful early 1900's handpainted Limoges game bird plate entirely hand painted and signed by one artist
(Muville), in exceptional condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or evidence of repairs. Eleven matching plates are available.... buyers can choose any quantity. Our price is only $150 per plate, although the 1996 Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain (2nd Edition) lists an average book value of $250 to $400
EACH for similar game plates. Each plate features a different flying and/or standing bird scene -- they appear to be quail, ducks (mallards), pheasants, geese and/or sandpipers. Each plate measures 9.5" in diameter with a 7/8" ornate scalloped gold rim. All plates from this set are double marked with underglaze green Limoges France and star
(Kovels #153G) Latrille Freres Mark #1 (factory), and a red overglaze (decorator mark)
Lazeyras, Rosenfeld, and Lehman Mark #3 (Encyclopedia of Limoges by M. Gaston). They were fired between 1899 and 1913, and painted no later than 1922. Both companies were contemporary to Haviland from the Limoges region of France. All plates have a very minor degree of rubbing/swirls in the gold rim from handling and/or age.
There are 3 short surface scratches in the gilt rim. Shipping is $8 for the first plate, and $2 for each additional plate.
If
a USA buyer purchases ALL 11 plates, we will offer FREE insured shipping in the continental USA. If you live outside the USA,

Apollo Chocolate Box ~ Old Apollo Chocolate candy box measuring 5.5" x 3" x 1.5" with a red cover, showing a tradition looking Oriental woman (Japanese perhaps?). The white part of the box shown in the left side of the photo is the bottom of the box which reads "The Apollo Chocolates - The Chocolates that are different". The inside of the lid reads "The Apollo The Distinctive Chocolates for those who discriminate". In excellent condition with the exception of full corner splits on the short end of the red lid (bottom of the picture). This could be carefully repaired with glue, and would probably be nearly invisible. |

German Strawberry Pitcher
~ Very nice vintage piece in excellent condition. It measures approximately 7" high, and is quite heavy for it's size. No cracks or chips, but does have two tiny pinpoint size flea bites - one on the handle (facing the camera - very small), and the other on the tip of the spout. The bottom of the pitcher has a dark green
under glaze mark of a ship with "C.N." on the sail, and "Germany" below. Also, there is an impressed mold number "672". No idea how old it is, but believe it to be pre-war. |

Gilbert Oak Clock ~ A beautiful clock in very nice condition manufactured by Gilbert Clock Company. The body of the clock has a very old Gilbert sticker on the back, but I can't tell if all the parts are original to the piece. If it was restored, it was done very well... as you can see in the photos. The clock works intermittently
but not consistently -- it needs to be cleaned and serviced. Because we
are not clock experts or refinishers, we offer no warranty as to it's
working condition... you are buying it "as is". Please contact us if you have specific questions or need additional
photos. Comes with a key (not original). Buyer to pay $20 for very careful packing and insured
shipping. |

Staffordshire Toby Head Bowl
~ An unusual and hard-to-find toby jug cup or bowl (without a handle) made in Staffordshire England, measuring 4" in diameter and 2.5" tall. The piece has the words "Shorter England 491" impressed in the bottom. Believed to be pre-war vintage. The piece has tight overall crazing, no chips, but does have one thin hairline from the black hat rim through his left eye. It's difficult to notice under normal inspection, but
can be seen if you are looking for it. |
