Artist Signed
Hand Painted Ceramic Bunny Rabbit Plate and Matching Egg ~ This is a
gorgeous set! The back of the heavy 8" ceramic plate has an artist
signature and the date 1994. I can't make out the name, but it looks
something like Brook Daniel. The matching ceramic egg is 4.75" tall
and about 3.5" wide across the middle. Both pieces are entirely hand
painted with tan and white rabbits, with deep blue lines and dots.
The egg shows two white-tailed tan bunnies in a field by a river with
rolling green hills and puffy white clouds -- the design goes all the way around
the egg. Both pieces are in excellent
condition with no chips or cracks. The egg has a kiln firing split
(manufacturing flaw) in an arc on the bottom about 1" long, which cannot
be seen unless you pick it up. Both pieces have overall tight glaze
crazing (not stained or darkened). A unique artist piece that would
make an excellent gift for a Royal Doulton Bunnykins, Easter or rabbit
collector. |

1970's Fitz &
Floyd Figural Pig Creamer ~ Adorable piggy measuring approximately
4.5" long by 3.25" high. There is a tiny amount of tight crazing
starting, but it is difficult to see under normal inspection. No
chips or cracks. The bottom is marked with a copyright mark and FF.
This piece is not dated, but I have seen the matching sugar bowl that
indicates this pattern was made around 1977. Very cute! |

USA Made Mauve
Colored Pottery 2-Handled Vase ~ Lovely vintage vase with an impressed
mark on the bottom of "USA 178". The mark is faint, so I could be
wrong about the numbers. In any case, the vase is approximately 8"
tall and 2.5" across the widest section from handle to handle. The
bottom underside rim is round a has some old nicks, but they cannot be
seen unless you pick up the vase to inspect it. No other flaws,
cracks, or chips have been found. I'm not sure what color to call
this..... mauve, deep pink, or perhaps red. This photo is pretty
true to the actual color (on my monitor, any way). A very nice piece
in great condition! I have not been able to determine the maker....
could be Hull, Shawnee Hall, McCoy, or ??? If anyone knows the
maker, please let us know. Thanks! |

Old Hand Made Oriental Man & Child
Ceramic Figurine ~ Large ornate vintage oriental man figurine
measuring nearly 14" tall and weighing 2.5 pounds. There is no
base and the inside is hollow, so there are no makers marks that I could
find. He is an old piece that is entirely hand crafted and hand
painted. I did not find any chips or cracks.... only some handling
wear to the paint. The wear does not ruin the beauty of this quality
figurine -- I would estimate it at between 10% and 15% at most.
Acquired from a Southern California estate. We also have an oriental
woman of the same age and style from this same estate. She has a base and
it is marked with what I believe is a Japanese mark. |

Vintage Birds on A Branch
Porcelain Cup & Saucer Set ~ Very pretty little demitasse set
standing about 2.5" high with a 4.5" saucer diameter.
Both pieces are marked with the number 7837 but no other maker's marks,
so I am not able to determine the origin or age. Based on its look
and the estate it came from, I'd guess the vintage would fall in the
1940's to 1960's range. The image is of two pretty blue birds with
green backs and yellow chests, sitting on a pink flowering branch.
Some very minor gold wear, but no chips, cracks or other damage. |

Black Woman w/ Afro Fiji Cup & Saucer -
Made in England by Woods ~ Interesting demitasse cup and saucer set marked "Wood's England" on the bottom of both pieces. The tiny cup measures 2" high; the saucer is just over 4" in diameter. Both have the image of a black woman with an afro and a bright orange flower in her hair and on her shoulder, and the words "Fiji Cabe Ni
Siga". They are quite heavy for the size, and are nice quality. I have not been able to figure out what
"Cabe Ni Siga" means... it's possible this is
an advertising set for a hotel or cafe. The age of the unusual set is unknown, but it the pieces look to be
vintage. Isn't it interesting that a piece advertising Fiji was made
half a world away in England?! |

C7105 in green underglaze. No other maker's marks. The pitcher is in
excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The underplate has
two tiny pinpoint nicks in the rim edge facing the camera (easy to touch
up), and some light crazing in the center. Both pieces have a pretty
raised design, particularly on the saucer/plate. A very nice vintage
pottery set at a great price! |
