Calling All Artists (September 2002)
Are you an artist looking for a shop to represent you? Tired of trying to sell your items yourself when you'd rather be working on your art? Trojan Horse Antiques is looking to expand its website to include unique fine art. We are open to all mediums, but would prefer high quality items including paintings, porcelain, pottery, sculptures, and art glass. The items must be originals of your own design -- no reproductions, copies, remakes of other artist's designs, or crafts. Please no more than THREE photographs of the items, a short bio of your background and work, and your wholesale dealer pricing. We will review your submission and let you know if we are interested in representing you.
Our THIRD Guide Dog puppy is Here! (August 2002)
Those of you who have visited our shop before probably know about our passion for our favorite charity, Guide Dogs of America. We not only sell their fundraising merchandise through this website, but are also volunteer puppy raisers. The newest addition to our home is Jedi, a 4-month old male German Shepherd. He has generously been sponsored by the 20th Century Fox studios, which earned them the right to name this adorable boy in honor of the Star Wars movies. Look for photos and updates about Jedi on the Our Gift page ..... coming as soon as I have more than 5 minutes quiet time! :-)
We've Moved (July 2002)
Over the 4th of July weekend, 2002, we packed up the final box and loaded it onto a truck headed for our new home in Tehachapi, California. Whew..... big job! The website was closed for a couple of weeks from May thru June while we sorted things out and opened all those boxes. We are now officially back in business full swing, and ready to serve you from our lovely mountain hideaway. Look for new items to be added to the shop in coming weeks.
