Rare 1960's Retro Red Globemaster Ball Soda / Seltzer Bottle - Made in England ~ I'm not a barware collector, but I have to admit this unique item really knocks me out..... I just love the very cool shiny red finish!  This double capacity CO2 seltzer round bottle measures about 10.5" high and 6.5" across the widest part of the middle.  The metal plunger handle, black spout and CO2 connector cap are all in excellent condition with only a minor amount of handling wear.  I believe the metal body is enameling over chrome.  The finish is in great condition with only a couple tiny dings and surface scratches.  There are 2 pinpoint spots on the base where the red has flecked off the metal -- one on the side of the foot where it touches the table, and the other is on the bottom.  A beautiful vintage bar collectible that would be the highlight of any display.

SOLD!

Leaping Dolphin Wood Carving ~ An unmarked 1-piece wood carving of a dolphin acquired from an estate sale. It was probably was a souvenir from a long ago trip to Mexico or some Caribbean island vacation.  He stands approximately 8" tall and is in great condition with no damage.  Made of a light weight wood with a smooth finish that is not glazed or polished. $20 + $5 Shipping

HorseMugJapan.jpg (41478 bytes) Horse & Foal Farm Scene Ceramic Mug ~ Nice quality heavy ceramic mug about 5" featuring a mare and her foal (perhaps Quarterhorses or Thoroughbreds) on the right side, and another horse trotting across an open field on the other side.  The bottom is marked Otagiri Japan with a flower logo.  I have no idea of vintage.  Very cute and in perfect condition!

SOLD!

CSTexasMini.jpg (32132 bytes) Miniature Texas Ceramic Cup & Saucer w/ Steer Head & Oil Rig ~ Adorable and very tiny vintage cup and saucer made in Japan as a souvenir item for the state of Texas.  The cup is just over 1.5" high and the saucer is 3.5" in diameter.  There is a sticker on the bottom of the saucer that reads "Golden Aspen by Thrifco Japan".  Both pieces have tight crazing. The cup has some roughness inside the rim.  Both have minor imperfections (manufacturing flaws) but no chips or cracks.  I'd guess this set is circa 1950's, but I don't know for sure. $30 + $6 Shipping
JimBeamAntiqueTraderFront.jpg (62850 bytes) 1968 Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey Decanter ~ Antique Trader Magazine Collectible Bottle ~ Figural Jim Beam decanter measuring approximately 11" high to the top of the cork finial, 8.5" wide across, and 2" deep. This heavy ceramic decanter was produced in 1968 to commemorate The Antique Trader National Directory of Antique Dealers newspaper. No chips or cracks. The paper label on the front is 90% intact. The cork has expanded and does not fit all the way into the bottle. I'm sure it could be fixed, but I didn't want to force it. The back of the bottle reads "Kewanee Illinois - Hog Capital of the World". This was in celebration of The Antique Trader's 11th Anniversary from 1957 through 1968. $30 + $8.20 Shipping

LimogesBirdPlate6.jpg (54915 bytes) Antique French Limoges Game Bird Plate #6 ~ Beautiful early 1900's handpainted Limoges game bird plate entirely hand painted and signed by one artist (Muville), in exceptional condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or evidence of repairs. Eleven matching plates are available.... buyers can choose any quantity. Our price is only $150 per plate, although the 1996 Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain (2nd Edition) lists an average book value of $250 to $400 EACH for similar game plates. Each plate features a different flying and/or standing bird scene -- they appear to be quail, ducks (mallards), pheasants, geese and/or sandpipers. Each plate measures 9.5" in diameter with a 7/8" ornate scalloped gold rim. All plates from this set are double marked with underglaze green Limoges France and star (Kovels #153G) Latrille Freres Mark #1 (factory), and a red overglaze (decorator mark) Lazeyras, Rosenfeld, and Lehman Mark #3 (Encyclopedia of Limoges by M. Gaston). They were fired between 1899 and 1913, and painted no later than 1922. Both companies were contemporary to Haviland from the Limoges region of France. All plates have a very minor degree of rubbing/swirls in the gold rim from handling and/or age. No other apparent flaws. Shipping is $8 for the first plate, and $2 for each additional plate. If a USA buyer purchases ALL 11 plates, we will offer FREE insured shipping in the continental USA. If you live outside the USA, contact us for your discount.
