Lenox Christmas Rocking Horse & Elf Child Teapot ~ Mint condition Lenox fine china porcelain teapot called Santa's Holiday Toy Shop, and featuring an elf child riding a rocking horse surrounded by gifts from Santa. It measures 9" high by 8" wide from spout to handle.  I believe I might have the original box, but I will have to do some digging to see if I have it (I'm the only owner -- bought it new in 2000 or so.).  Please tell me when you order if you need the box.  The teapot will be carefully packed even if I can't locate its Lenox box.

SOLD!

1994 Large Cardew Design Skirted Tea Table Teapot w/ Pewter Dishes ~ A beautiful and very large size teapot measuring 8" high and 11" made in England by Paul Cardew in 1994. The bottom has Paul Cardew's signature in gold, in addition to the logo.  The white porcelain table skirt features blue dots, a lace doily under the dishes, and pewter dishes on top, filled with fresh fruit and sugar cubes.  In excellent condition with no damage found.  A hard to find older Cardew pot that is sure to be the highlight of any collection.

Popeye The Sailor Man Large Cardew Figural Teapot ~ Really great large size teapot of Popeye made by Cardew Designs of England.  Measures approximately 6" tall and 9" wide from pipe spout to arm handle.  A limited production teapot in mint condition.

SOLD!

BrownTobyFigureTeapot.jpg (64509 bytes) English Full Figure Toby Jug Ceramic Teapot w/ Silver Overlay ~ Unusual toby style teapot made in England by Price Kensington.  He is 6" high and about 8" across from handle to spout. I did not find any chips or cracks but there is a manufacturing flaw -- a sizeable chip on the spout that is totally under the paint, silver overlay design and the firing glaze.  I find it odd that they would continue to design a flawed piece of ceramic, but perhaps they didn't want to waste a perfectly good teapot.  This manufacturing flaw faces the camera in the photo so, as you can see, it does not detract from its beauty or interest.  I have never seen this figural teapot before.... perhaps it is rare.  In any case, it is certainly unusual.  The perfect gift for the figural teapot or toby jug collector. $45 + $10 Shipping

CardewFireplacePortLarge.jpg (94151 bytes) Cardew Portmeirion Fireplace Large Figural Teapot ~ Beautiful teapot made by Paul Cardew of England a couple years ago.  It measures approximately 8.5" high and 12" wide from spout to handle.  In excellent condition with no chips or cracks, but does have some glaze crazing, which is common to these older Cardew pieces.

SOLD!

HallTurqoiseTeapot.jpg (31479 bytes) Hall Turquoise or Teal Round Betty Teapot w/ Gold Stars ~ Nice vintage 6 cup Hall teapot approximately 6" high and 9.5" across from spout to handle featuring a gold star design, and gold trim.  In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.  I don't know exactly when it was made, but I believe it was somewhere between the 1940's and 1950's.  There is gold wear on the handle, spout and lid from use... I would estimate about 20% overall.  A nice teapot!

SOLD!

CardewMovingDayTeapot.jpg (64093 bytes) Southwest Ceramics 1988 Moving Day Porcelain Teapot (Early Paul Cardew) ~ Very hard to find design Made in England for the Tea Council Collection in 1988 by Paul Cardew, who now runs his own company called Cardew Designs.  I believe this teapot is called "Moving Day" as it features an old looking "wood crate" filled to the brim with all sorts of interesting miniature items, including china, a teddy bear, a tennis racket, a picture, a red boot, and a book piled on top of old newspapers.  The teapot is about 6" high and 10" across from spout to handle.  In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.  There are some minor underglaze manufacturing flaws (missing or irregular paint) and one firing split under the rim of the lid, which cannot be seen when the lid is in place. Moderate crazing lines can be seen in various places around the teapot and lid... mostly in the lighter sections.  An excellent early example of Cardew, that would be the highlight of any collection! $125 + $10 Shipping
