ca. 1900 French A.K. Limoges Porcelain Hand Painted Squirrel Dresser Box ~ Fantastic and very large Limoges dresser jar or powder box measuring about 7" in diameter and 3.5" high. The green under glaze mark is attributed to the Klingenberg factory in Limoges, France, in business between the 1880's and 1910. The box is in wonderful condition, as you can see in the photo. I did not find cracks, and the painting of the squirrel and pinecones is in excellent shape. The only flaw found is a 0.25" diameter flat chip on the inside of the rim where it sits inside the box. It is not easily noticed, and cannot be seen from the outside when the lid is on. Considering this fine porcelain box is about 100 years old, the condition is very nice. Vintage Limoges was painted with a lot of different scenes, flowers, etc., but I have never seen a powder box with a squirrel motif. Adorable! Grab this cutie quickly.... you may not see another one like it any time soon. |

French Limoges Hand Painted 2 Handle Demitasse Tea Cup & Saucer ~ This is a really stunning set, believed to be a custom designed piece and, therefore, probably quite rare. Both pieces are entirely hand painted with brightly colored flowers, gold rims, and a raised white enameled design, plus an additional gold flower painted on the inside of the cup's bottom. The cup is 2" tall and the saucer is 4" in diameter. Both are in pristine condition. The cup is marked "Limoges France" in green under glaze. The saucer reads "Hand Painted Expressly For Michel XXX Paris". There is a last name in place of the X's, but I was not able to make out what it says. Black Americana Miniature Cast Iron Skillet w/ African Woman's Face ~ Although this item does not have any maker's marks, we believe it to be a very old piece of Black Americana -- a miniature cast iron (toy?) skillet showing the face of a woman in a headscarf. There is some very old paint on her blouse and head wrap that has worn off in most places (see photo), the the back has three tiny ball feet. It is approximately 4.5" high and 3" wide. Came from the estate of an Oklahoma antique dealer. |

1900's Vaseline & Opalescent Glass Opal Open or Beaded Panels Whimsey Dish ~ Lovely vintage vaseline dish on an open loop beaded pedestal base. It measures approximately 6.75" in diameter and 4" tall. This pattern was manufactured by Northwood starting in 1899 then by Dugan in 1907. Most likely Northwood as Dugan iridized many of their pieces in this pattern. It is usually called Opal Open in opalescent glass, and carnival glass collectors know this pattern as Beaded Panels. A very hard to find piece in this ruffle rim card tray shape. In fantastic condition with no chips or cracks. There are a couple of straw marks in the bottom of the dish -- a normal flaw from the manufacturing process during this period. |

Blue Porcelain Urn Vase w/ Scenic Design & Ornate Handles ~ I acquired this pretty piece from an estate sale a few years ago and have had it on display in my home since then. The vase measures approximately 13" tall and 6" across the widest point. The manufacturer's marks on the bottom are only numbers, so I have not been able to determine the maker or exact age. The impressed numbers are 10 4 21 (the date of October 4, 1921 perhaps??) and the number 23, which I would assume is a model, mold or style number. The vase is in excellent condition, with only two flaws - a thin hairline on the bottom of the vase, and a 0.25" chip on the left handle which has been painted over. This flaw is facing the camera so, as you can see, it is not readily apparent with casual inspection. The top rim is rough... I think because it was painted unglazed. The couple featured on the transfer design appear to be wearing Greek or Roman clothing. There is no scene on the back side of the vase. The inside is a unique teal color, which has some black specks or burst air bubbles, which I believe are manufacturing flaws. A beautiful and unusual piece of decorative porcelain! |

Stunning Antique Art Nouveau English Biscuit Jar ~ This high quality antique biscuit jar stands about 6" high to the rim of the jar, not counting the lid or handle. It is white porcelain painted with a black base design, covered with a very interesting moth or butterfly painted on both sides. The silver rim is marked with 3 characters I can't make out, and the letters EPNS (Electro Plated Nickel Silver). No additional maker's markings. I can't tell if the silver is worn or just tarnished, as I have chosen not to clean up the lid or handle.... I'll let the buyer decide if they want to do that. I could not find any chips or cracks on this really nice piece. The inside has tight uniform crazing. The inside and outside bottom have staining inside the crazing lines. Some very minor wear and tiny scratches to the painted surface in places. Overall, and exceptional display piece! |

Occupied Japan Squirrel on Corn Figural Teapot ~ Yellow corn teapot with green leaf decor similar in shape to the old Shawnee Corn King teapots, but so much better! The icing on the cake is the brown squirrel handle and the lid's finial.... the tip of the squirrel's tail. The teapot is approximately 5.25" high to the finial, and 7" wide from spout to handle. The only flaws I could find are a tiny pinpoint nick under the lid where it sits on the teapot (cannot be seen without lifting the lid) and a manufacturing flaw.... a little blue "gloop" of porcelain fired in just about the bottom rim of the pot where it sits on the table. A couple of faint crazing lines are starting in a few places, but very faint. The bottom of the teapot is marked "Made in Occupied Japan" in black or dark blue block letters, making it around 60 years old. A definite must have for the corn, squirrel or Occupied Japan collector! |

Old German 2-Handle Porcelain Rose Cake Plate ~ Quality vintage porcelain plate with 2 open handles. The back is marked with a red circle "Made in Germany" mark. I have not been able to identify the maker from this mark, but believe it dates the manufacture to before World War II. It has the look of being hand painted, but close inspection indicates it is transferware. Measures 9.25" in diameter with no chips or cracks. There are some tiny surfaces scratches, as well as wear to the design, particularly the pink rim. Overall very nice! |

English Silver Plate Salt & Pepper Set w/ Cobalt Glass Inserts ~ This very pretty set is made of silverplate. The salt/pepper shakers stand about 2" high. The round open salt (?) has a diameter just under 1.75" across. The underplate is about 5.5" across the longest side. The pieces are in very good condition with no dents or major damage, and cobalt glass inserts appear to be free of chips and cracks. Both of the lids are stuck on with some sort of corrosion - I assume caused by salt - so I have not been able to remove them. The shaker on the right has corrosion around the holes, which has caused some flaking of the silver plate around them. The set is stamped "Made in England". Very pretty display piece, in spite of the flaws. The set is being sold "as is". Age unknown. |

Red & Black Art Deco Ceramic Pottery Pitcher or Handled Jug ~ I bought this interesting piece from an estate. It had a tag that said it was a "signed numbered English red & black corky pitcher", but I honestly don't know what it is. The piece caught my eye because of it's striking bright red color with black and white swirled into the design (the inside is a chocolate brown color). The bottom of the jug (vase? pitcher?) has raised markings in white "WB 155/12". I have not been able to find any information on it's maker. Definitely older, but age is unknown.... I'd guess the 1960's or earlier. It measures 5" tall and 5.5" wide, and 2.5" deep. No damage of any kind -- a lovely piece! |

(5) Miniature Hand Crafted 19th Century German Coin Spoons ~ Very unusual set of (5) miniature spoons hand-made from mid-1800's German coins. Each has a twisted handle and a tiny Victorian style filigree ball at the end, and measures approximately 2.25" long (they are not exactly the same size). Each of the spoons has a different coin. They are marked as follows: 1) Kreuzer 1844 Baden, 2) Kreuzer 1835, 3) Maxios HIBC, 4) German or Latin writing on both sides (cannot make out the words), and 5) Koeiger Bayern 3 Kreuzer 1848. We have searched extensively and have not found anything similar to this set, and believe them to be rare. Sorry for the bad picture -- our camera could not focus this closely.
