CzechStripedPitcher.jpg (34517 bytes) Vintage Made in Czechoslovakia Striped Creamer Pitcher ~ Nice older Czech pitcher standing 4" tall and about 5" wide from spout to handle. No chips or cracks. Some minor scratches and general wear from use. The striped pattern is green, black, maroon, with a peach pearlized iridescent rim around the top. Probably circa 1930s-1940s.   $30 + $6.50 Shipping

PurpleAustriaDish.jpg (45723 bytes) Austrian Lavender Painted  Dish ~ Nice porcelain dish measuring approximately 4.5" in diameter painted a lovely purple lavender color on the outside. It has a green under glaze mark on the bottom that clearly reads "Austria", but I could not read the mark to identify the manufacturer. Would make a nice potpourri or ring dish. No chips or cracks.

OccJapanLadyGoose.jpg (22977 bytes) Occupied Japan Porcelain Figurine ~ Woman in Period Costume w/ a Duck & Basket ~ Very nice figure manufactured in Occupied Japan between 1945 and 1952. She is approximately 7" tall and is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks, but there is a manufacturing split in the bottom from firing. Some very minor paint loss in a couple of places. The bottom is marked "Made in Occupied Japan" in red. $35 + $6.50 Shipping

HotelJeffersonDish.jpg (35855 bytes) c.1900 Hotel Jefferson Porcelain Shell Shaped Nut Dish - St. Louis Missouri ~ A very pretty 5" diameter nut or candy dish from an estate in Maryland of a man who was nearly 100 when he passed away. The bottom mark indicates it was made c. 1900 by the Maddock Pottery Company in Trenton, New Jersey for the Hotel Jefferson in St. Louis, MO. It reads "Hotel Jefferson" on the bottom, and has their logo on the inside. Probably a memento of a long-ago trip with his wife of 60+ years. $25 + $6.50 Shipping

CzechBlueSpotCracked.jpg (27787 bytes) Czech Erphila Blue Spotted 2.5" Creamer ~ Very nice older piece of Czechoslovakian pottery measuring approximately 2.5" high and 4" wide from handle to spout. No chips, but there is a hairline that starts at the rim, goes straight down to the base, then curves around the side. This damage is facing the camera so, as you can see, the piece is still in nice display condition. In mint condition it would be worth much more, but we are offering it at a lower price to compensate for its flaws. $10 + $6.50 Shipping

RoyalDoultonFishPlate.jpg (70097 bytes) Rare Royal Doulton Austrialia Fish Dish ~ The Old Wife Pattern ~ I'd never seen this design before when I ran across this gorgeous Royal Doulton fish plate/dish/bowl in London.  It features a really pretty green, blue, red and yellow background, green lily pad type leaves, and two striped fish.  The back is marked with the Royal Doulton lion & crown mark, as well as a fish design, and the words "D5966 The Old Wife Regd in Australia".  There is also an impressed number 8267 and some other impressed numbers I can't make out.  I have searched the internet and cannot find another like it.  I assume it was made for UK export to Australia.  It is my understanding that this pattern was made between 1938 and 1955. It measures about 9.5" by 7.25" and the edge sits about 1.25" high off the table.  It's not a plate, nor deep enough to be a bowl per se, so "snack dish" would probably be the most accurate description.  There is fair to moderate crazing (mostly on the back), but I did not find any chips or cracks.  Some minor amount of discoloration on the back near the crazing.  The front of the dish (as seen in the photo) is as close to mint as could be expected for an older piece.

2MiniJapanCeramicPitchers.jpg (29212 bytes) Pair of Old Made in Japan Miniature Ceramic Pitchers ~ Very cute little ceramic pottery pitchers probably made circa the 1940's or 1950's.  Each measures about 3" tall and is in excellent condition.  Made of nice quality ceramic with a deep burgundy or maroon color and shiny glaze finish. $20 + $6 Shipping
Thornton Utz Bisque Porcelain Figurine - My Kitty ~ Mint condition figurine measuring approximately 5" high and 2.25" across the widest part of the base.  The 2nd issue in an original collection sculpted by artist Thornton Utz.  The series, entitled Portraits of Childhood, is Utz's first ever limited edition figurine collection.  Includes the certificate of authenticity from the Hamilton Collection.  Issued circa 1984.  Very hard to find!  We have most of the other figurines from this series listed for sale in the shop.

CardewTarteaPin.jpg (12102 bytes) CARDEW Ceramic TEAPOT Shaped Tartea Lapel PIN Signed by Paul Cardew ~ Very cute ceramic pin called Tartea (or Tart-Tea) made by Cardew. It measures 1.5" high by 2" wide. The transfer image is glazed, but the rest of the teapot is left in a non-shiny unglazed bisque style. This piece was personally signed for me by Paul Cardew on April 29, 2001 at the International Collector's Exposition. It is very hard to find, and would make a nice gift for the jewelry, teapot and/or Cardew collector. The pin is new, never used. Mr. Cardew told me that the pinbacks had a tendency to become unattached from the ceramic, so you might want to give it a little shot of superglue before wearing it. $10 + $4 Shipping

FruitCreamerSugar.jpg (48031 bytes) Hand Painted Fruit Ceramic Creamer & Sugar Set ~ Very cute creamer and covered sugar bowl approximately 3.5" high that feature a pretty hand painted fruit pattern. Each has a green bottle, a slice of watermelon, purple grapes, and some sort of yellow fruit. In good condition but both have minor flaws: the creamer has 2 tiny nicks on the handle, and there is a chip on the inside of the bottom of the sugar lid. These flaws are not easily noticed without close inspection. $10 + $6 Shipping
GermanPaintedSauceDish.jpg (46489 bytes) German Hand Painted Sauce or Gravy Dish / Handled Bowl ~ This very lovely dish is marked on the back "Made in Germany in a red circle mark.  It does not indicate the exact maker, so I was not able to confirm its age, but it's definitely vintage.  It measures 5.75" high and 7.25" across from the spout tip to the handle.  It only stands about 1.25" high, so I believe it might be considered a sauce dish or gravy of some sort.  In excellent condition with no damage.  Some very minor wear to the gold trim.  A beautiful hand painted piece!

SOLD!

CzechPearliezedCreamer.jpg (34847 bytes) Czech Lustreware Iridescent Creamer Pitcher ~ Nice vintage piece of Czechoslovakian pottery measuring approximately 4" high and 4.25" wide from spout to handle. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs found. The black rim and handle have some minor paint wear. Overall, a nice old pottery piece in great condition! $25 + $6.50 Shipping
HandpaintedSquareRoseDish.jpg (17259 bytes) Hand Painted Pink Rose Covered Vanity or Dresser Box ~ This white porcelain covered box on 4 feet is in perfect condition, and is entirely hand painted with pink roses, blue accent flowers, and greenery, on a light pink background. The top is signed "Bett B" in black paint; the bottom reads "handpainted Bett B" with no other markings. It looks to be in new condition, but may be vintage.  Would make an excellent gift for that hard-to-buy-for lady in your life. Measures 2.25" high, 3" wide, and 2.25" deep. No damage of any kind.  A beautiful piece!  $35 + $6 Shipping

LimogesBirdPlate9.jpg (57113 bytes) Antique French Limoges Game Bird Plate #9 ~ Beautiful early 1900's handpainted Limoges game bird plate entirely hand painted and signed by one artist (Muville), in exceptional condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or evidence of repairs. Eleven matching plates are available.... buyers can choose any quantity. Our price is only $150 per plate, although the 1996 Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain (2nd Edition) lists an average book value of $250 to $400 EACH for similar game plates. Each plate features a different flying and/or standing bird scene -- they appear to be quail, ducks (mallards), pheasants, geese and/or sandpipers. Each plate measures 9.5" in diameter with a 7/8" ornate scalloped gold rim. All plates from this set are double marked with underglaze green Limoges France and star (Kovels #153G) Latrille Freres Mark #1 (factory), and a red overglaze (decorator mark) Lazeyras, Rosenfeld, and Lehman Mark #3 (Encyclopedia of Limoges by M. Gaston). They were fired between 1899 and 1913, and painted no later than 1922. Both companies were contemporary to Haviland from the Limoges region of France. All plates have a very minor degree of rubbing/swirls in the gold rim from handling and/or age. No other apparent flaws. Shipping is $8 for the first plate, and $2 for each additional plate. If a USA buyer purchases ALL 11 plates, we will offer FREE insured shipping in the continental USA. If you live outside the USA, contact us for your discount.

PJapanPinkFlowers.jpg (49904 bytes) Beautiful Hand Painted Vintage Japan Plate ~ Pink Cherry Blossom Flower Design ~ I believe these are cherry blossoms, but I could be wrong. In any case, they certainly are pretty!  Older, probably 1950's or maybe a bit earlier.  The plate measures just under 10" in diameter.  No chips, cracks or repairs... a lovely hand painted decorative porcelain plate to display with pride.
